ROCK RIVER ANIMAL CLINIC

Originally from Wisconsin, Dr. Tarp grew up in the country surrounded by animals. He spent most of his teenage years and early adulthood as a herdsman on a dairy farm and soon realized that the science behind animal medicine was the way to go. After earning his Animal Science degree from UW-Platteville, Dr. Tarp continued his studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He graduated with his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2014 and moved to Blair, WI, to begin working at a mixed-animal practice. In 2015, he relocated to Jefferson, WI. Shortly after, he had the opportunity to focus his career on small animal medicine. Dr. Tarp enjoys emphasizing preventative care and dentistry. He is committed to providing outstanding care and excellent customer service.

 

Dr. Tarp now resides in Fort Atkinson with his wife and three wonderful boys. They all adore their beautiful Juniper Berry, a faithful and loyal Chesapeake Bay Retriever; Dante and Leo, their two cats; and their 20 chickens! When he has free time between career responsibilities and family life, Dr. Tarp enjoys fishing, hunting, and relaxing with his family.
